On the west coast of Istria, Rovinj is a Croatian fishing town. The historic village is located on a headland, with residences squeezed onto the beach. The hilltop church of St. leads down a tangle of cobbled streets. Euphemia's majestic steeple rises above the city. Lone Bay, one of the region's pebble beaches, is located south of the original town.
