Motovuno is dominated by the Romanesque Gothic belfry with a toothed crown from the 13th century, located next to the parish church of St. Stjepan from the 17th century. In the central town square there is also the Romanesque communal palace, the largest profane building in Istria from that period, and there are numerous other historical buildings around.
